Lisa and Jamie’s sweet love story begins in a nightclub in the big city of Toronto. Even though neither of them actually wanted to go out that night, their friends had dragged them out. Little did they know that this would be the night that would change their lives forever.
Somehow, their two groups of friends became one. They ended up spending the entire evening laughing, joking and dancing until the sun came up. Once the night was over, they went back to their homes on opposite sides of the country but continued to keep in touch.
Later that summer, they took a mini-vacation together in Las Vegas to get to know each other better and put their compatibility to the test. It further strengthened their bond and began their passion for traveling the world together.
Since then, it’s been a beautiful ride filled love, laughter, ups and downs, challenges, compromises, changing addresses and careers, meeting new people, making new friends, becoming dog owners, buying their dream house and eventually saying “I Do.”
Looking back now, they both admit that something felt different the night they first met. He says she was like no other woman he had ever met. She says he was full of life and a total gentleman with a bright smile and kind eyes. They both agree that there was an unspoken bond between them.
