This styled backyard wedding located in Midlothian, VA was designed for Remy Thompson’s photography workshop. Remy reached out to some of her favorite local boss babes in the surrounding areas of Richmond to collaborate on a styled shoot that Remy had been dreaming of. She wanted to give the vendors the opportunity to get creative in their own way while keeping a pretty, fun, pink and purple theme in mind. A real-life engaged couple made for the perfect models in a dreamy backyard on the water with a touch of golden sunshine coming through the trees. Though it was the hottest day in June, there was no stopping this couple from twirling into each other’s arms.
From the vibrant and floral table setting to the fluffy bouquet, the three-tiered pink cake, and the stunning couple, this styled shoot was the perfect mix of whimsical and romantic. The “sweets stand” added a playful yet pretty touch to the wedding by decorating with lots of sprinkles, fun desserts, and florals for finishing touches! The table set for four by the water was designed in a simple and elegant way that doesn’t take away from the colorful linen to fit the theme.
