Classically styled bright and beautiful Bridal Portraits at a photo studio in Athens Tennessee!
All white everything for this gorgeous series of bridal portraits. A crisp white backdrop, a white sweetheart neckline bridal gown, and a bright white veil with floral applique lining. To add in a small pop of color, the bride also donned a feathery peacock style hairpiece tucked just behind her wavy hair. The hairpiece was handcrafted and is directly inspired by Carrie Bradshaw’s infamous bird hairpiece.
Bridal portraits are formal, professionally crafted photos of just the bride, and there are so many ways to go about having a session for yourself! Bridal portraits absolutely can be taken before your wedding day (bonus if you can get them scheduled for the same day as your hair and makeup trials!), you can opt to spend some time alone with your wedding photographer the day of your wedding for your bridal portraits, or, you can schedule a session with your wedding photographer for a date well after your wedding has taken place.
If you are wondering how to express versatility with the styling of your bridal portraits you’ll get a little bit of inspiration from the shoot below. Small subtle differences such as veil versus no veil, and taking your hair down towards the end of your session can make such an impact to the overall outcome of the photos without the use of added props. Although, the leafy muted sage bridal bouquet included in this shoot makes for the perfect added touch!
