Beautiful DeKalb Courthouse Wedding

DeKalb Courthouse Wedding

If you are planning a DeKalb Courthouse wedding, you are going to love all the sweet details from this day!

Alana + Jerry met each other at work. Jerry came up with the most thoughtful and romantic proposal! On their first night of their week long getaway to the beach, they decided to grab some dinner. They walked around this beautiful area called Rosemary Beach. Just enjoying the sites, it took Alana by shock when Jerry got down on one knee. Alana started crying immediately out of excitement. He said so many sweet sweet words then pulled out Alana’s great grandmothers blue velvet box she had gotten proposed to with and Alana started crying even more. Jerry asked Alana to marry him, and opened the box and all she saw was the astonishing engagement ring with her great grandmother’s stone in the center being placed on her finger by the man of her dreams and she lost it! Ugly crying is an understatement. To top it all off, Jerry hired a secret photographer who captured the moment for them to cherish forever!

Their wedding took place at the Historic DeKalb Courthouse in Decatur, Georgia. It is an iconic landmark in Decatur. Here, guests are surrounded in vintage charm where the ceremony and reception were held in the hallowed halls of the Old Superior Courtroom. The marble walls and beautifully arched windows provided the perfect backdrop for the beautiful event!
