This bridal portrait session in South Carolina is everything! Erin is a beautiful bride and looks amazing in her gown. Her stunning bouquet really caught our eye. The bright pops of orange and pink serve as a perfect contrast to the lush green backdrop.
A note from the photographer: Erin is the type of girl that lights up a room upon entrance with her lighthearted demeanor and contagious personality. After our meetings and discussion of wedding details, I knew a low country bridal session at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club was the perfect setting. A captivating mixed bouquet, designed by close family friend, Leigh Cook, was the perfect compliment to Erin’s classic Maggie Sottero gown. As a traditional southern bride and a lover of heirlooms, the arrangement is wrapped in a piece of wedding dress fabric belonging to Erin’s mother, Denise. Additional heirlooms, a ring and pearl bracelet, helped to complete Erin’s bridal portrait look.
Erin replicated this style for her May 27, 2017, wedding to Andrew Scott. She completed her look by utilizing more of her mother’s dress to create a patch stitched underneath, which also served as her “something blue”.
