Megan and Ben got married in the same place that he proposed to Megan – the family Lakehouse in Maine! This Lake Sebasticook wedding in Newport ME was truly epic. They were threatened with rain, but in true Maine fashion it changed and the day turned out amazing. The breeze from the lake kept everyone cool, and their wedding programs doubled as fans! The details for the wedding so very well thought out and personalized, down to the literal family tree that they constructed filled with vintage family wedding photos.
The bridesmaids wore gorgeous red gowns that perfectly complimented the vivid florals. The seating chart was made up of personalized stones featuring each guests name and table number.
There was an incredible sunset over the water, so they went back out for more portraits during the reception. Ben is Jewish, so they had a Jewish ceremony in which he broke the glass and the Horah at the reception! It was such an authentic day.
