Candlelight Inn Wedding With The Most Amazing Sunlit Backdrop

Nestled in the New England Countryside is a charming little barn, with the words “Peace Joy & Love” painted on it.   The Candlelight Inn was the perfect place for Desiree & Robert’s rustic barn wedding.

All of the photos from their day are amazing, but I am obsessed with how beautifully Airen Miller Photography was able to capture that “Golden Hour” sunlight.

It all started at The Russian Lady in New Haven, CT… A girl went out dancing on a hot summer’s night in July with some friends. A boy was also out with some friends that night. Although their paths had never crossed before, they had some mutual friends in common. The big combined group all ended up on the dance floor at The Russian Lady. They danced together all night long. Last call was called, the lights came on, and everyone headed to their cars. The girl went out to her friend’s car that she came with and there was the boy from the dance floor. She didn’t want him to come with them to the diner, but he invited himself anyway. She didn’t want him to sit next to her at the diner, but he did anyway. He asked her a bunch of personal questions and all she wanted to do was eat her french fries in peace and go home. He asked all his questions anyway. She had been happily single for a couple years and wasn’t looking to mix that up anytime soon. Nevertheless he persisted. He asked for her number after the check came and she was too tired to argue and gave it to him. That was a Friday night. Sunday they had their first date, he picked her up at the beach on his Harley. She was impressed. And he’s been impressing her every day since. 4 years later they said I DO to forever.
