Classic Wedding at Paul Brown Stadium in Ohio

It's not every day that you hear about a wedding at a football stadium! This wedding was epic in every way. From the fun shots on the stadium field to the grand interior of the East Club Lounge. This is one you won't forget.

Check out what the bride had to say about her big day:

Q: Tell us about your wedding! What was the inspiration behind your day? Did you have a specific theme, style or color palette? Did you incorporate any cultural or religious traditions in any part of your day?

A: Our colors were blush and gold and that set the tone for the rest of the decor. I like things “classy and simple”. As long as I can remember I've had a vision in my head for my wedding day and it ended up being exactly what I have always pictured!

Q: Let's talk wedding decor. How did you decorate your space for the ceremony and the reception? Was any part of the decor DIY?

A: My bridesmaids and I spent hours and hours the day prior to the wedding perfecting every detail at the reception venue! We used blush rosette tablecloths on the dinner tables and blush tablecloths on the cocktail tables. Blush menus were folded in white napkins and placed on gold chargers. The flower arrangements were in gold mercury glass vases that were placed on circular mirrors in the middle of the table.  We also had gold mercury glass votives on the tables! I didn't use any DIY but I did insist on setting up the space!

Q: What were the florals like in your wedding? Did you use flowers in any of your design elements like the bridal bouquets, centerpieces or ceremony backdrop? Did they play an important part in the overall style of your wedding?

A: My mom loves flowers and insisted we have them everywhere! They played a huge part in our wedding decor. We used pink and white peonies with pink roses in the bridal bouquets, church arrangements, centerpieces and on the cocktail tables. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and far surpassed our expectations! There were two large arrangements on pillars when walking into the Church- those were my favorite! We used gold mercury glass vases which tied in beautifully with our blush and gold decor.

Q: Did you personalize the day in any way (food trucks, guest entertainment etc.)? What were some of your favorite parts of your wedding?

A: My favorite part of our wedding was the photobooth. Our vendor was awesome and made a scrapbook for us of all the pictures taken in the booth that night. We absolutely love it and have so much fun looking through the album! The event coordinator at Paul Brown worked with our vendor to have the photos live streamed to the TV's which was awesome!

Q: Let's talk fashion. How did you choose your wedding day look? How did the groom? Describe both looks in detail.

A: I have always had a very specific look in mind for my wedding day and it came together perfectly! Kotsovas helped me make the dress of my dreams! My dress was white lace with a scalloped cathedral train. The dress had a sweetheart neckline and thick lace straps. I added a beaded crystal belt. The veil was cathedral length and had lace details that matched the lace on my dress. I wore teardrop crystal earrings to complete the look. It was my dream dress! As for the grooms look we both agreed we prefer navy suits with black accents. His suit was dark navy with a black bow tie, black cumberbund, and black shoes. He wore a white flower!

Q: How did you meet? Tell us about the proposal.

A: Sam and I met through mutual friends one night in downtown Cincinnati. For our proposal Sam took me to our favorite spot at the Netherland plaza and proposed! He had a photographer there that captured everything. Afterwards he surprised me again by taking me to his house where all our family and friends were waiting for us!

Q: What was the most anticipated or special moment of your wedding day?

A: The most special moment of my wedding day was having my dad walk me down the aisle to my new husband!

Q: Do you have any wedding planning or marriage advice that you'd like to share with other couples planning their day?

A: Enjoy every second- it goes by very quickly!

I had a front row seat to a beautiful beginning of their love story, I photographed a fun bridal party and then was able to end the day at the most fun but surprisingly elegant, Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Stefanie and Sam met, fell in love, engaged, married and then celebrated their marriage all in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. The Paul Brown Stadium was perfect for them. The stadium fits their fun side and their love of football but the East Club Lounge fits their classy and elegant side.
