Connecticut Estate Wedding
Perfectly ripened peaches, a magnificent Georgian style estate and a charming color palette – all the makings of a magical southern wedding except, this shoot takes place in the picturesque New England town of Goshen, CT.
This amazing group of vendors wanted to create something that spoke to the sweet and softer side of this area’s couples who may be planning a Connecticut estate wedding. They chose a soft and dreamy color palette of creamy whites, a mixture of soft blues with hints of navy and an ever so subtle southern peach hue. The dream-like setting was designed to inspire couples who want a charming yet elegant feel to their special day.
The tablescape, was designed with varying styles of vintage china to inspire a classic southern heirloom feel. There were romantic soft blue candles encased in modern glass enclosures. The dreamy chiffon runner cradled the base of the beautiful centerpieces.
The decadent 3 tier cake was beautifully decorated with blue scroll work on the top and bottom tiers. Adorable peach sugar cookies, mini pies and sweet peaches were used to tie in the theme and add personality to the heavenly desert table.
The bride’s hair was carefully pulled back into a loose elegant braided style with soft and dainty flowers plucked from the bridal bouquet. The groom proudly wore a bright and vibrant suit donning a preppy floral bowtie.
At the end of the ceremony, colorful confetti was tossed around and smiles and laughter were had by all.
