Krista & Joseph had a gorgeous wedding at The Barn At Gibbet Hill in Massachusetts. They managed to capture their love of all things country and create their dream wedding.
From the Bride:
I guess you always think you have a very clear picture in your head of how your wedding day would look. I wanted it outside of course, but not on a beach or by a lake… that truly didn’t capture who I was. When Joe and I met we found that we both really had a love for country music, not just today’s hits but all the greats…the artists that put country on the map. A barn setting was exactly the setting we both wanted and saw coming alive when we found The Barn at Gibbet Hill. It’s older feel with the top of the hill ceremony was everything we could have dreamed of and more.
Living briefly in Texas I knew I needed a little extra touch and found cowboy boots would do just that. Having all the ladies in the wedding party along with myself in boots was just the touch we needed. The laundry clothes line style for the table cards and the mason jars on the tables added just a little extra country flair to an already exquisite venue. As our ideas became reality all the final details came together. I think by far my favorite was the signing board. Joe actually designed and built it himself for our special day. It was better then anything we could have purchased. Not for the money, but just because it was something he made for us and for our wedding day.
We have the most amazing friends and family. They really were the glue that tied everything together. I sat up with a few of my bridesmaids just days before the wedding until 1am finishing favors. Not to mention my parents who pulled all the flowers together and got them to the venue. My mother was also my florist! The flowers couldn’t have looked more amazing.
When I first saw these pictures I honestly was speechless. I remembered back to before the wedding… I thought how can I make this decision? How can I find someone I know would capture our day in the most perfect way. I have to say I was and still am blown away by Cassidy’s work. These pictures bring me back to that day and all those special moments. They are absolutely amazing!!! Gorgeous in every way. I want to hang every single one in my house! Haha I know this isn’t possible. I cannot say thank you enough, I don’t think I can pull together words that justify the gratitude we have. An amazing day, one that thanks to Thompson Photography Group I won’t be forgetting anytime soon.
