The mission in San Juan Capistrano is a historical location in California that turned out to be the picture-perfect spot for this gorgeous styled shoot captured entirely on film.
The “dusty rose” ring box seen in many of the photos was the sole source of inspiration for the day. Once the main color and theme were established, everything else fell into place beautifully. The oh-so-romantic dress featuring rose appliqués and layer upon layer of the most breathtaking fabric, fit perfectly into the overall look. The bride was absolutely stunning with her effortlessly styled hair that was pulled back at the top leaving her long and loose waves flowing free to emphasize her natural beauty.
The delicately styled invitation suite perfectly tied into the theme with its hand calligraphed – all organic look. A matching dinner menu was also created using the same frayed edge parchment paper as the invitations The stunning florals were worked into every aspect of the day and were featured in the centerpieces, in the romantic bouquet carried by the bride, and arranged on the cake cascading from the top tier all the way to the base.
The aging architecture of the Mission provided the perfect backdrop to capture some gorgeous photos along its walkways and within the gardens. You can’t help but swoon over the images that resulted from this day.
