An elegant Provencal themed styled wedding at Bastide du Roy Event in the French Riveria!
This elegant wedding set on the Mediterranean coast of the French Riveria was captured on film and full of bright style, floral textures, and soft romantic hues.
The Bastide du Roy Event is a building that dates back to the 16th century and belonged to Henri IV. In 1924, the famous fashion designer Jeanne Lanvin purchased the estate as a wedding present for his daughter. The estate is also known as being a summer getaway for Mick Jagger after his 1971 wedding to Bianca.
Pastel florals deeply inspired this styled wedding and the bride wore two looks. The first look was a bespoke skirt that was designed using white phalaenopsis orchids and white hydrangea surrounded by layers of soft white tulle. A matching wrist corsage was also custom crafted for the bride to tie the earthy yet delicate look together. The gorgeous bride also slipped into a second look for the shoot, provided by Martine Toledano, a soft white wedding gown with a luxurious train a high ‘V’ back detail and an embroidered lace bodice.
Parisienne romance stories are full of long walks through awe-inspiring gardens and this styled wedding is aptly set in the gardens of Bastide du Roy. Bursting with topiaries, the wedding pros who designed this shoot also used florals in shades of pastels to take the gardens from romantic to overly indulgent. A white cafe-style set of table and chairs sits quietly in the corner for the bride and groom to enjoy.
