A Glamourous French Elopement

This gorgeous French elopement featured not one, but THREE stunning gowns!

French elopement in front of Eiffel tower

Jenny & Nate met at a mutual friend’s house party. As luck would have it, they kept seeing each other at events over the next few months until they started dating later that year. Shortly after, they moved in together and made their love for one another known.

While there was no official proposal, they knew they had big dreams about their wedding and wanted it to be extremely special. Upon finding their amazing photographer, Pierre Torset they began working with him and selected the beautiful city of Paris as the backdrop for their union.

We wanted our wedding to be very glamorous and romantic! And there’s no city more glam and romantic than Paris. I’ve been in love with Paris (and the French culture in general) since I was a teenager (after I watched the movie Amelie), and always felt that if I got married, Paris would be my dream location. After we researched many many locations, we decided the Ritz was the most beautiful hotel and would be perfect for our special day. We also looked through 6-7 photographers’ portfolios and thought Pierre’s portfolio was the most fitting for our vision: artistically airy, soft, feminine, ROMANTIC. And we loved how he captured landscape, whereas many other photographers would focus in on the couple. Jenny

Dress #1 – The Gold Dress

Jenny’s mermaid style fit and flare gown that she purchased online was her first outfit choice of three. the golden baroque styling of the gown went perfectly with the iconic Parisian backdrop. Nate’s striking all-black suite and her gold gown went hand-in-hand for this look.

Dress #2 – The Burgundy Dress

Similar to her gold dress, Jenny found her second dress choice online. She really wanted a burgundy dress. After lots of searching she landed on this gorgeous number. It also went perfectly with Nate’s navy blue suit and photographed beautifully.

Dress #3 – Jenny’s Wedding Dress

Covered in delicate lace appliques, Jenny’s wedding gown was an absolute dream. This fit and flare dress featured a dramatic lace train with a low v-shaped back. Her hair was beautifully styled and topped off with a simple sheer veil. We love how Nate helped her get ready and the photo of him buttoning her dress. Such a sweet way to involve the groom!

Their wedding was held at the Ritz Paris, where they exchanged written vows with just a few family members by their side. This beautiful intimate French elopement allowed them to be fully present for one another while enjoying every moment of the day.

My favorite part of the day was walking down the aisle and listening to Nate’s vows. They were so well written and very touching. Jenny

Reading my vows to Jenny and feeling how much I love her while doing so, and seeing how in love she was with me while I was reading them to her, was the most memorable part of a day that I will never forget.Nate
