French Province Romance – Inspiration Session

Get ready to witness a real life fairy tale. Doug and Luisa Manning are a husband and wife duo and are also the stars of this dreamy inspiration shoot.

They met and fell in love in Las Vegas, had a long distance relationship with over 5000 miles between them for the first 2.5 years of their relationship. Ultimately, they got married back at the hotel where they first met, had their dream wedding in Aruba, and now live together in Dallas.

They are a wife & husband photographer team in the metroplex area and LOVE coffee and food dates. As you can see the chemistry between the real life couple is out of this world too!

This inspiration shoot feature French lifestyle elements and sweet berry colors. The fig pies and fruits provided texture alongside the soft florals. French macarons and vanilla fruit tarts from Floweristic Event gave the entire spread character and class. Not to mention a small sweet treat to satisfy even the tiniest sweet tooth! They decided to go with a simple raspberry flavor and a side of blackberries to add some color to the table.

Let’s talk about Luisa’s Dress! A gorgeous design by Elizabeth Lee Bridal Boutique in Bedford, Texas with beaded details that gracefully drape off the shoulders. The 3D floral details paired with the 3 foot train are a match made in bridal heaven!

The venue itself was inspired by the historic streets of New Orleans with an appreciation of the outdoors. La Cour offers the atmosphere of a French country courtyard alongside an elegant indoor venue, with several outdoor entertaining areas. The venue is located only five minutes from the Historic Downtown McKinney Square in McKinney, Texas!
