Gershon Fox Ballroom Wedding
Lisa and Anthony had a gorgeous wedding at the Gershon Fox Ballroom in Hartford, CT. Being a wedding planner, Lisa had a very specific vision for their big day. The goal was to create a setting that was intimate, romantic and fun. The ballroom itself is filled with 20’s vintage style charm and stunning crystals hanging from the ceilings. This was the perfect canvas for all the beautifully styled gold details.
When it came to choosing a photographer, they knew that it had to be Simply K Studios! Their ability to capture emotion on camera is what makes them truly amazing at what they do – so if you are looking for wedding photographers in CT, these are your girls! For videography, they brought on Ryan James photography with their eye for detail and true love for their art form.
Lisa wanted custom pieces for her day that other bride’s weren’t wearing. Couture Jeweled Bouquets by Danielle Aspinwall worked with her to create a shoulder necklace, hair comb and matching earrings. She also had a custom veil designed utilizing gold details with a very dramatic length of 14 feet. The last detail that added a nostalgic final touch to her look was a mink that belonged to her grandmother which came from the days of the G. Fox retail outlet (the current Gershon Fox Ballroom).
The reception overflowed with signature details. From fortune teller style games to custom chocolate bar escort cards. The custom candy table by The Candy Brigade blew guests away and the cigar bar kept the non-dancers busy when they weren’t visiting the photobooth! When it came to the centerpieces Lisa along with Melissa of Stylish Blooms spent 2 years creating the perfect centerpieces. They utilized lots of candles along with blush and white flowers to create a soft romantic ambiance.
