From the couple: We wanted to find a balance between earthen simplicity, romance, and elegance. We held the ceremony at the Sacred Hearth Cathedral Basilica to capture a beautiful architectural feat and our Catholic roots. Then convened for the reception at the Pleasantdale Chateau and enjoyed its rustic beauty. We decided on a romantic color palate, including blush for the bridesmaids, black for the groomsmen, and an abundance of blush peonies, pink and white roses, and white orchids. Guests walked through an arch of flowers as they entered the ballroom, centerpieces cascading white and pink flowers and the sweetheart table was placed under an arch of flowers and handing candles.
