A Wedding By The Sea

Jessi and Hilton met in college and quickly became inseparable.  When it became time for Hilton to leave for basic training, the couple knew that they would do whatever it took to make the distance work, and after months of being separated, he proposed within days of his return. Being that they had met and started their relationship in Wilmington, and their shared love of the sea, it was apparent that they needed to select a wedding venue on the water. The wedding day was filled with gorgeous details and tear-filled laughter from family and guests alike. The florals were made up of white anemones and peach roses. Hints of blue ribbon can be spotted in some of the details including the handle of the bouquet and around the base of each cake layer. The adorable flower girls wore handmade baby’s breath crowns and of course, no wedding by the sea would be complete without touches of burlap ribbon for a true ocean-inspired look. At one point, Jessi commented that the only thing missing from the day was their dog Kai, and as if on cue, one of her bridesmaids walked out with their dog to surprise them!
