Lake Oak Meadows Wedding

Kerrie & Justin’s Lake Oak Meadows wedding was truly a perfect affair! They planned every last detail to make sure who they are and what they love to do, travel, showed through everything. Kerrie and Justin’s story starts simply in the fact that Kerrie with her best friend created online dating profiles for each other, where they would send each other on blind dates with guys. Justin was the first guy that she was set up with and now the rest is truly history.

Every detail about this Lake Oak Meadows wedding was perfect, even their details. Kerrie had engraved on Justin’s ring with “forever and a day” as a surprise to him!

I adored photographing both Kerrie and Justin with their bridal party members! They both kept me on my toes and made sure that we got some amazing photos.

Lake Oak Meadows is the perfect location for wedding photos! The stunning sun streaming into their romantic ceremony was truly perfect. They were married by Kerrie’s best friend, which made their day perfect.

A travel themed reception showing some of the amazing adventures that Kerrie and Justin have already had together made for a perfect ending to their amazing day. Their hand painted cake was by far my favorite detail!

Kerrie had a few things to say about her special day:

My vision was a whimsical and romantic travel themed wedding. Traveling is our favorite thing to do together and we wanted to show our love of adventure with our friends and family! Three of my favorite details about our wedding were the stories we wrote about each of the cities we have travelled to that were incorporated into our centerpieces (on the back of a picture of us in that city). I also loved our guestbook which was an atlas of the world. Our guests wrote a wish for the bride and groom next to their favorite place in the world within the atlas. And lastly, I loved our wedding cake! Not only did it taste amazing, but our baker was able to hand draw a world map into one of the three tiers of the cake. It was absolutely incredible! Justin actually found the venue online and it was the first (and only) venue that we went to look at. We recently moved to Temecula and knew we wanted the wedding at a local winery and the lake at the venue with the flowers and vines were the perfect romantic setting that we were looking for
