It’s lakeside vows for the bride and groom who said their I do’s by Lake Ripley in Cambridge Wisconsin!
Emilie & Michael’s wedding was filled with so many personal touches in their elegant meets casual lakeside wedding day!
The couple decided to hold their wedding day at a private residence, in the backyard of the groom’s mother home with several of the neighbors also adjoining backyards. WIth the gorgeous shores of Lake Ripley adjacent, the bride and groom held their sweet first look on a dock where Emilie revealed her beautifully textured wedding gown to Michael, who was full of smiles and kisses for his bride.
Summer vacations are for the bride and groom are filled with trips to the lake, so choosing to wed by the shores was a decision that is near and dear to their hearts! The couple’s vows were officiated by a close personal friend, and it all ended with the Jewish tradition of smashing the glass!
Family and friends were treated to dinner under a white tent strung with twinkle lights. When the dinner service was over, the celebration moved to the outdoor dance floor for the evening’s entertainment where guests danced the night away! When it came time for Emilie and Michael’s first dance, Michael’s brother, a performer, sang and played the keyboard while the bride’s father played the guitar, very symbolic of two families coming together!
The night ended when twilight struck and the couple finished their day by dancing the horah while fireworks went off just overhead!
