Set among the in beautiful Ontario, Laura + Zack’s 5 year anniversary lavender field photos have us smitten.
With small lavender farms dotting the landscape, this was the perfect spot to grab some epic shots. Laura’s gown featured a v-neck lace top with a blush pink flowing skirt. Her hair was styled in relaxed waves which complemented the lavender inspired calmness of the day.
Even though the weather called for rain for that day, it did end up clearing for one hour which was plenty of time for the couple’s love to be captured. The overcast from the storm clouds provided the perfect amount of contrast between the hues of the fields and the couple’s attire. The photographer came prepared with a clear bubble umbrella which ended up being a fun prop for the session once it started raining again.
Lavender fields are a beautiful choice for couples looking for photos that feature a pop of color and whimsy. If you are looking for ways to style your own lavender session we recommend using elements such as the adorable champagne glasses accented with a sprig of lavender and choosing a wardrobe that compliments the colors found in nature.
Another stunning element of the day was the bouquet that featured Hydrangeas, Garden Roses, and Eucalyptus tied together with pretty layered ribbons. If you are looking for lavender field photo inspiration for you portraits, you are going to love all the details in this session.
