The inspiration behind this gorgeous shoot was the Lionheart Chateau, which is tucked away near the capitol city of Charleston, West Virginia.
Lara-Jill connected a long list of fantastic vendors that would pull together her vision, driven by the cool, grey stone that makes up the beautiful WV castle-esque manor. Paired with airy blush pastels, burning candles, and lush greenery, the romantic scene was set. They were honored to have Nichole Greene, Miss WV USA 2016, join them for this shoot. After months of planning, she filled out the Maggie Sottero dress as if it were made for her. She and her boyfriend, Josh, modeled as a newlywed couple across the grounds of the Chateau and their chemistry shined bright.
Calligraphy and script played a large role in the theme for this styled session. It was utilized from the cake, on stone tablets used as place cards, leather bracelets, and various paper products. These beautiful bridal details filled out Lara-Jill’s vision to create a styling bar for the bridal party. This tall bookcase stood as a showcase for bouquets, decanters, boutonnieres, bridal party accessories, champagne, and more.
