Jake & Lauren’s love story:
We met through mutual friends and were inseparable after the first date. We are both very adventurous people and that is one of the things that first caught my eye the most about Jake. Since day one, we have had an off and on long-distance relationship as Jake travels for work. I feel that this only made and still makes our love for each other stronger, as well as cherishing the time we do get to spend together so much more. Jake surprised me with a trip to Las Vegas when I went to visit him in Salt Lake City (where he was working at the time) over Thanksgiving break. When we arrived in Las Vegas the first night, Jake had our dinner reservations, limo, as well as my outfit to wear for the night. We went to dinner and then began walking around the Vegas strip. As we walked by the garden fountain at the Wynn Hotel, Jake stopped and turned to me as he held my hand. Of course, I immediately started crying. He proposed there at the fountain and then topped the night off with a Cirque du Soleil show.
