Read all about the sweet proposal below.
From the photographer:
Cole and Molly love each other easily; it comes naturally for them. Cole is very sweet with Molly, and when he looks at her, you can just see how much he loves and admires her. It’s so very evident that he’s found the love of his life. Oh, and Molly’s face was lit up with a smile the entire session, because being around Cole just makes her happy. It was so easy for me to see how comfortable they both were in their relationship and with each other. Those little looks and smiles shared between a couple are my favorite things to see as a photographer behind the camera, so it’s safe to say they made my job easy for me!
How did you two meet/start dating?
From the bride: “We met through a mutual friend Sara when I was in grad school. Sara thought we would be a good fit. She invited him to our house gathering before the St.. Pats festival. We had a great conversation that day but I didn’t agree to go out with him until the summer and I’m so glad I did! On our first date he came to my door with beautiful flowers and he took me to see a local band. I’m a huge music fan so I knew right away he was special :)”
Tell us the proposal story!
From the Bride “We went to the Avett Brothers concert in Charlotte on New Year’s Eve with my sister, Zoe. The concert was a surprise Christmas gift! I was just excited to be with my two best friends and ring in the new year with them. During the concert Cole was sweating up a storm and I asked him if he was alright and that maybe he should take off his coat but he refused to take it off which I thought was strange! I was shocked when he proposed after the concert and we enjoyed desert at Amelie’s because I love chocolate and coffee 🙂 He told me later he was nervous and hot but couldn’t take off his coat because he had the ring in his pocket!”
