This styled event was crafted by a team of vendors from Fort Worth, Texas. Inspired by classic black marble, gold accents and wild, flowing greenery, event designer and florist Courtney Childress of Redemptive Design Co. sought to blend metallic finishes and soft textures with just a hint of Cowtown rustic.
Downtown Fort Worth venue 809 at Vickery served as the perfect backdrop, while real life newlyweds Linley and Zach enjoyed an encore as bride and groom. The plunging, beaded illusion neckline and flowing A-line organza skirt of the Maren gown by Maggie Sottero was the perfect blend of romance and glamour on Linley, while Zach’s slim fit, notched lapel Vera Wang tuxedo brought all the Bond vibes.
Long-standing local jeweler Troy Vinson selected several pieces for the couple. In keeping with the modern industrial-meets-romantic botanical themes of the shoot, the bride wore a stunning radiant cut solitaire engagement ring as well as an antique 1920s diamond bracelet.
Garden roses, willow seeded eucalyptus, zinnias and wonderfully unique protea blooms flowed through the design, from the bouquet to the cake to the table. Kakelyn’s Bakery took inspiration from the black marbled place settings and gold flatware when designing the three-tiered cake. Meanwhile Fort Worth Fudge & Toffee provided a unique rendition of the groom’s dessert table with a bar full of mouthwatering confections like glittered truffles, habanero nut brittle, caramel sea salt popcorn and maple walnut fudge. Crystal glasses of ice cold milk were a surprisingly perfect pairing for the sweet treats and made the tastiest favors for guests!
