Minimalistic & Romantic Wedding

Kendra and Logan met in middle school, were friends in high school and became close in college. They soon began dating in college, both attending FSU. As die-hard FSU fans, they even chanted the FSU fight song during their reception. They enjoy hiking, going on adventures and relaxing with their fur children.

Logan proposed to Kendra the first time we ever went hiking in Yosemite National Park in California.

“We hiked over to an empty spot with a perfect view of the half dome where I was taking the last bite of my sandwich, he came over and got down on one knee and proposed to me. It was perfect 🙂 afterward, we continued on our hike so elated that we forgot that we didn’t bring much water and ended up struggling on the way back up haha.” – Kendra

Kendra and Logan got married on a beautiful December day. There was literally no clouds in the sky! Kendra and Logan chose Thalatta Estate because it was the perfect outdoor venue. They were able to experience the ocean but didn’t have to walk on the sand. There was so much natural greenery and the venue was so open and airy, that it completely trumped their other options. When they first saw it, they just knew it was the perfect place.

Their style was minimalistic, romantic and with a touch of rustic vibes. They had striking florals and lush greenery, playing off of the greenery already encompassing the space. Simple Rustic provided beautiful barrel bars and an antique sweetheart table. Simple Florals killed the floral game with eye swooning bouquets.  Each detail was planned with such intention and Kendra was fully involved in the planning & design process.  The couple served traditional Cuban food and took traditions from both their backgrounds to make the wedding personal to them.
