This Modern East Asian styled wedding features over the top flowers and stunning details in shades of red and gold with pops of black. It was beautifully captured by Andrea Van Orsouw Photography and was set against the backdrop of the famous Barcelona Ballroom at Hotel Andaluz Albuquerque. The gold fringe floating lanterns of the ballroom were the perfect touch that illuminated the romance and vibrance of this elegant soiree.
The bride dazzled in two stunning Clarisse red laced bridal gowns from Bridal Elegance by Darlene. Genica Lee styled the bride with a glowing look that complimented her natural beauty and pulled her hair back in a romantic updo that was embellished with a gold head comb decorated with red beads.
The groom was dressed in a timeless black tuxedo by Mr. Tux, and the look was completed with a custom bow tie and red Chinese silk pocket square handkerchief to match the bride’s traditional red gown.
The shoot started with a Tea Ceremony to dedicate honor to a very treasured ceremony in Chinese culture that includes a formal introduction of the bride and groom and shows respect and gratitude to their families for all the years of love and care. The invitations to the Tea Ceremony and Wedding were wonderfully designed by Cordially Invited Events and they performed beautifully as an indication for the festivities to come. Tiffany Burke Events’ design was inspired by the rich culture and she masterfully created the wedding ceremony, reception decoration, and floral designs in a way that combined Chinese cultural elegance with modern details for a look that was both timeless and fresh. To secure the brilliance of this shoot, Heather from Three Baby Birds Baking, created a modern tiered cake which was iced with red buttercream and adorned with florals and gorgeous edible sugar creations.
