With their three boys by their sides, Emily and Sherod celebrated twenty years of marriage surrounded by family and friends atop one of Bakersfield’s most historic and elite venues, The Padre Hotel. Since opening its doors in 1928, the rooftop views had never looked better as they did that cool night in September. Italian lighting, a light breeze and Lonely Avenue encompassing guests were just accessories to the custom-made wood log candle votives and twinkling lights with rich, nature-inspired floral centerpieces accented with cotton and fern leaves. Together, these earthy elements successfully created the warm, welcoming ambiance that Emily and Sherod wished to encircle their guests with.
