The inspiration behind this shoot comes from shades of pink. It centers around vibrant hues and vintage undertones. From the ballgown to the cotton candy, there is a nice mix of old and new. Katie Price Events has provided a palette to appease the timeless bride looking for contemporary details.
The first impression of a wedding is the invitation. To make a statement, use a bold color like this bright pop of pink. Paper Hearts Invitations provides a classic white base for a mix of pinks and gold. Pay close attention to the vellum RSVP trend! Polish it off with a heart adorned wax seal and you have a winner. Everyone will be checking, “yes!”
Bridal details include elements like Marc Jacobs perfume, Kate Spade pumps, and a rose gold set of rings. The groom chose details like a blush damask print tie, a cigar box, and a fresh floral boutonniere. The pair dressed formally for the day, and looked almost out of a fairytale.
Reception plans mixed vintage with a touch of new. Tapered candles with vintage dishes matched the vibe of new geometric centerpieces. Scattered flowers, tangerines, and freshly made macaroons brought out color against a light garland. The peach and orange gave a warm contrast to the pink, while staying in the same color family. Don’t be afraid to skirt the lines (as the late Kate Spade would say!).
Antrim 1844 set a timeless scene with it’s historic build. From the grand fountain in the gardens to the boutique rooms throughout the venue, it provides many photo opportunities. This gave Sara and Chen the chance to take a variety of photos. They were perfectly posed in a modern setting with cotton candy in hand, as well as inside near a grand window. The day provided all the makings of a dream wedding!
