The Publick House Historic Inn in Sturbridge Massachusettes plays host to this styled light blue and white charming wedding.
This styled wedding was directly inspired by the venue in which it takes place. The Publick House Historic Inn, a full-service inn that dates back to 1771 and is nestled in the countryside of Sturbridge, MA. It is a chic colonial-style building that offers the perfect balance of rustic charm with modern elegance.
Decor and design for this shoot were planned with Spring or Summertime wedding in mind and included hues of earthy blue and heaps of crisp white. Florals designs were created by using roses, hydrangeas, and eucalyptus. The sweetheart table was lined with floral garland that was created out of greenery and stuffed with bundles of hydrangea that were accented by white roses.
The wedding invitations dinner menus and the cake were all created by The Publick House’s bakery. The wedding menu included a top eucalyptus leaf detail which tied in with the overall floral theme.
The charming balcony on the Publick House’s property was the perfect spot for the bride and groom to stop and pose for a few portraits. The balcony portraits create a warm and intimate feeling with sconced lanterns and all white rocking chairs in the background.
