Rollins Mansion Wedding
If sheer elegance and endless flowers make your heart sing, you will absolutely love this amazingly chic Rollins Mansion Wedding. The idea for this shoot was based on a modern bride to be who lives in Des Moines as she gets ready for her wedding day. Growing up in a small town gives her a deep appreciation for historic architecture and the beauty it holds – making this historic venue the ultimate choice.
Grand floral design was the star of the show. A soft blue table cloth with a floral applique overlay covered the tabletops. Satin Napkins were bunched on the place settings and held together by a handmade floral napkin holder. The lush floral centerpiece was filled with beautiful garden roses, white stock, white anemones, and beautiful greenery and set atop a golden pedestal. The bride’s gorgeous and overflowing bouquet featured for more of the same flowers and was hand-tied with a satin bow. The bride’s dress was the definition of style and elegance. The fit and flare look was a perfect choice. Lace adorned the bodice of the gown, down the middle of the skirt, and all around the strikingly beautiful train. The open back featured a v-shaped lace applique pattern down the middle before closing off at her lower back where the gown was slightly bunched into the most subtle ruffle.
