Foggy Wedding Day
When life hands you lemons, you make lemonade! That is the outlook Kristen & Aaron had on their sweet West Virginia wedding day. It just so happened that it was one of foggiest, rainiest, and windiest weddings that Jasmine White Photography ever shot. It was so windy in fact that they had to tie down the tent with heavy duty trucks just to keep it from blowing away. So what do you do so when the elements are putting a cramp in our style? You embrace it and make it work for you! In spite of the weather, this turned out to be one of the most romantic weddings we have ever seen. The fog created a breathtaking ambiance that is reminiscent of an English country side and an old world feel that could of otherwise not be achieved. The icing on the cake was the clear umbrella the couple used as they posed in the misty woods. Some couples and photographers can only dream of having beautiful fog fill the backdrop of their photos.
The stunning florals used to style the day were the perfect pop of color! The vibrant shades of burgundy, pink and stark reds added depth and romance to the tables and within the bouquets. The bride wore a gorgeous off the shoulder illusion a-line gown. Her hair was down with a braided crown for a touch of sweetness! Her makeup was subtle and accentuated her natural beauty.
