Safari Elopement
Tamara and Rafael had an epic safari elopement! They had lived in Dubai for 3 years and wanted to Elope before returning back home.
Using the amazing colors found in nature, they were able to create the bride’s vision of a red themed safari elopement. They used pomegranates, strawberries, and other berries to decorate the tables and the cake. Beautifully lit candles added a romantic ambiance to the surrounding area and lanterns hung from the trees.
The local wildlife also made some special appearances in the photos.
Tamara and Rafael – talk about relationship goals! When these two enter any room, you can’t help but feel their chemistry. They are so obviously head over heels for each other, and it definitely shows.Tamara and Rafael moved to Dubai 3 years ago, and they met while working at the same company. They fell in love, and have been inseparable ever since. They were moving back to their home country, but before doing so they decided to take a bit of Dubai with them and chose to elope at the Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island resort – approximately 4 hours away from Dubai. With a central lodge featuring a Mediterranean restaurant and lounge, 30 individual villas – 15 set directly on the beach and 15 overlooking the lush green mangroves – Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island offers a lot of privacy with a dash of luxury. The resort has been built using design principles that take the Island’s delicate ecosystem into consideration, making it the perfect venue for this adventurous couple.Rafael and Tamara got to the resort early morning, hopped onto a ferry to the island and began getting ready. For their ceremony, they chose to exchange their vows in front of all the wildlife that the island harbored – from wild gazelle and deer to cheetahs and giraffes. Yes, they actually got the chance to see and even take a selfie with a few giraffes that were roaming the island! As for their dinner reception, they chose to keep it as intimate as possible, with 2 of their closest friends. We helped them style their table using what nature offered – primarily fruits! The bride wanted touches of red, so we focused on strawberries, berries, and pomegranate to liven up the decor.
