Seaside Elopement in Oregon
In the midst of a pandemic, couples have been faced with the reality of postponing their big day. While this may at first seem like the only option for many, this group of vendors wanted to show us that you can still have your wedding day and it can be just as dreamy with this gorgeously styled seaside elopement in Oregon! In order to accurately represent the process of putting together a last-minute elopement, they intentionally brought the design to life with just a few days’ notice. The result? An enchanting seaside elopement with a very special “dog of honor.”

The florals were a big statement piece for this elopement on the Oregon coast. The florist foraged and sourced all the florals from local flower farms, which was really important for this project. Hues of peach, vanilla, and coral made up the color palette. The stunning bride’s look was styled with bold coral eye makeup and natural tones for the rest of her look. The backdrop authentically represented what was sourced on the beach that very same day. Pieces were pulled from the shoreline and the amazing arbor was created on the spot. They secured the driftwood by digging holes – and even Ava, the dog of honor contributed. They then added large volcanic stones for additional support.
The incredible fondant cake was adorned with sprinkles, ruffled ranunculus, and drizzled white chocolate to emulate blush white waves crashing on the cake.
The bride was sweet and graceful and they wanted to ensure that her wedding dress allowed her to freely move around in the sand and water. The dress beautifully cascades off of her into a flowy sweep! The structured button back and lace detailing were simply breathtaking! For her statement piece, she wore a long cathedral length veil that could be swept up by the wind.
The stationery suite featured the adorable Dog of Honor, Ava, who proudly supports her PAWrents upcoming nuptials. You can tell that she feels included and takes her role very seriously, after all – being at an elopement she is one of very few guests. The invitations were handcrafted by the talented MEB Calligraphy who skillfully etched Ava and digitized it onto several of the stationery pieces. Included are sweet notes for the bride and groom to swap while getting ready.
