Drawing inspiration from the seasons is such an amazing way to begin the design phase of your wedding planning process! Pulling in concepts and a color palette from a season like Spring, when rich florals are blooming all around us is a great way to get inspired and to pull from key elements to make for a romantic spring themed wedding.
This styled shoot at 2400 on the River is full of rich florals, fun design concepts, dainty details, and a versatile array of bridal gowns modeled by multiple brides! The brides each wear a gown in a varying style to showcase the contrasting looks that can all be used if you are planning a spring wedding. For fun elements, a hollowed out, vintage red, VW bug, is filled from bumper to bumper with the most gorgeous florals! Florals spill out from underneath the hood and the windows of the car, trailing all the way down to the ground.
Numerous parts of the grounds at 2400 on the River were used when designing this styled shoot, including an ornate green building that resembles a life-sized birdcage with all glass windows and a floral trellis decorating the doorway. There are also photos of the brides roaming through the gardens, underneath the stone archway, inside the gazebo that overlooks the water, and bridal portraits by an indoor fireplace that is covered in the longest most voluminous floral garland that we have ever seen!
To top it all off, a three-tier white wedding cake, with an extra tall top layer was designed with fresh green orchids and a minimalistic gold geometric shape on the middle layer.
