Spring Wedding Inspired by The Italian Countryside

Through the winding hills and glorious mountains, tucked into a deep, quiet valley is Hotel Domestique. The boutique hotel was inspired by the world travels and stories of a famous cyclist and now sits as a romantic wedding destination nestled in Traveler’s Rest, SC. For this styled shoot, vendors were drawn to the countryside and the Italian-inspired elements of the hotel where a whimsical spring celebration was held. The invitation suite welcomed guests with an artist’s penciled sketch of the venue paired with a palette of coal grey, fair creams, and soft pinks. On the afternoon of the wedding day, Hotel Domestique’s deep wood french doors opened to a cobblestone patio with a panoramic mountain view, the background whisper of a bubbling fountain, and a grand reception setup with romantic drapery, an empire chandelier with beaded accents, and overflowing floral design by Kate Asire. All a dream brought to life by Bespoken Events, Ryan & Alyssa Photography captured the couple’s most intimate moments: a private reception dinner, a waterside walk and first dance, and cutting the cake donned with delicate (yet edible!) petals.

The bride opted for a classic, off the shoulder gown with intricate folds on the neckline and small buttons trailing to the bottom of the skirt. The groom juxtaposed the effortless and light wedding day details with a formal black tie tuxedo. The day served as look into a countryside celebration in Italy; the character of Hotel Domestique paired with the airy, spring styling and design could bring any guest to buy a one-way ticket to Tuscany.
