The Budget-Savvy Wedding Planner & Organizer – A Budget Friendly Wedding Planning Resource

Budget Savvy Wedding Planner

There are a TON of wedding planning books out there and as a wedding blog owner, I have meticulously read just about all of them. To me, wedding planning books are the equivalent of the latest best-selling true-crime series – I can’t get enough of them. That’s why as soon I heard Jessica Bishop from The Budget Savvy Bride was releasing The Budget-Savvy Wedding Planner & Organizer, I knew I needed to get my hands on it.

My initial intention was to review this book for Glittery Bride readers. However, as you all know, I am getting married in May of 2020, and as I found myself going through the book’s pages, I quickly realized how valuable this book was going to be, not only for couples getting married but for my own wedding planning purposes.

This wedding planner is packed with everything you could think of. Jessica literally left no stone un-turned. She covers the theme, guest list, venue, invites, reception, fashion and even the honeymoon, all while keeping your budget in check.

Here are some of my favorite sections from The Budget-Savvy Wedding Planner & Organizer:

Bridal Party Selection and Organizing
Jessica has taken all of the stress out of choosing and keeping track of the members of your bridal party. All of their contact info can be organized on this sheet making each bridal party member a phone call or e-mail away.

Who should I Invite? – The guest list dilemma solved!
Curating your guest list can be one of the most difficult parts of planning your wedding. I know first hand how your guest list can grow so big just from not knowing where to draw the line.  This page makes it super simple. Just follow the arrows and prompts on the chart and you will find just how easy it is to decide on whether you need to invite those friends from college that you haven’t seen in 8 years.

Paper Goods Inspiration Worksheet
This section was my absolute favorite. On this page I was able to clearly define the image I had in my head of what my wedding would look like.  When you hear the term “its’s all in the details” this is where you establish those details that will have all of your guests swooning.  Your theme, colors, tone and wedding symbols all work together to make your wedding unique – and this page helps you tie it all in while keeping it clear and on track.

wedding style worksheetOver the past few months this book has become my best friend. I slide it into my purse along with my daily planner and bring it with me wherever I go. I have literally filled out all the worksheets, highlighted my favorite parts and even put sticky notes on just about every page with my thoughts. I am quite pleased with all of the love I have put into this book. Not only is it helping me plan my wedding, but it is also going to serve as a record of my wedding planning process that I will cherish for years to come.

This book is available for purchase on Amazon right now – grab your copy today and start planning the budget friendly wedding of your dreams.
