Utah Mountain Wedding
The Kimball Home in Salt Lake City is the perfect venue for brides planning an intimate Utah mountain wedding. It’s simply breathtaking with it’s amazing views and endless horizons. Inspired by Frank Sinatra’s song “Waltz For Dreamer’s,” the vendors involved wanted to bring some southern charm to the high elevations of the mountains.
The details were simply delightful. The organic stationary suite featured floral parchment paper and hand calligraphed details. The outer envelope was a sweet shade of blush while the inner envelop was a shade of soft white. The oval halo diamond engagement ring paired with a hammered groom’s wedding band set the tone for the rustic chic meets romantic style of the day.
Magnificent florals were a big part of the decor. The centerpieces featured pampas grass that swayed playfully in the mountainous breeze along with romantic white garden roses and touches of lavender. When it came to the tablescape, no detail was spared. A soft velvet tablecloth laid the foundation for an ultra chic look. The gold flatware, gold rimmed white plates and gauze napkins brought in a light and airy feeling when contrasted against the rich tablecloth. Soft pink and clear glass chalices added height to the look along with the amazing white tapered candles set in clear candle holders.
The decadent cake was a work of art all on it’s own. With it’s all white design made to look like a delicate piece of lace, it featured handmade sugar flowers that were placed with intention and thoughtfulness. The result was sheer perfection of white on white bliss.
The dress was the sole inspiration for the mood board when designing the look for this shoot. The vendors wanted something romantic yet not out of place for a mountaintop venue. When they saw this gorgeous creation, they immediately fell in love with it’s plunging neckline, lace appliques and buttoned back. They topped off the look with a handmade gold leaf crown and veil made specifically for this day.
