Sarah and Boone met in Baton Rouge through mutual friends. It wasn’t long though before each knew that they had found their soul mate.
Together, the couple moved to New Orleans. There they quickly came to love the charming little Victorian hotel down the street from their new home, The Columns. The couple would frequent the hotels lounge to enjoy a cocktail in the charming old Victorian atmosphere. Built in 1883 and on the National Register of Historic Places, it’s hard not to fall in love with it’s charm!
When it came time to tie the knot, The Columns was the first place the couple thought of. They were very excited to share this special location with all of their friends and family. Set in the Garden District, the The Columns offered the best of New Orleans to their out of town guests. With the old street cars still operating right in front of the hotel, the guests truly enjoyed the unique experience that the location offered. Their wedding day was filled with Louisiana details. From the New Orleans Jazz band to the locally grown Kumquats on the cake, there was no shortage of local inspiration for this special day.
