The bride: “Our story started in 1981 where we first met working at a grocery store, it really was “Love at first sight!” Unfortunately, the timing was not right. I already had a boyfriend and he had a girlfriend at the time. We worked together for 6 months until I left to go to nursing school. We never were able to touch base and didn’t talk after that for 29 years! Even though both of us went on with our lives, married and each had a son from our previous marriages, we never stopped thinking and wondering what happened to the other one. Once our first marriages didn’t work out, Alan searched high and low for me. He eventually found me and we reconnected, never to part again. He didn’t want to let me get away twice!” Photographer: Not only do these two have a fairytale love story of finding each other again after many many years a part, but their wedding day reflected the magic of their relationship at this stunning Villa outside Los Angeles, California. Dina told me she wanted to make sure it showcased the magic that she felt that their story was, and went with a fairytale theme, complete with a princess dress and tiara. Her bridesmaids dresses were custom made for their wedding day, with beautiful blue tones that contrast perfectly with the orange tones in the Villa walls. Details included a sign that reads “tale as old as time” and a storybook to represent what their journey has been to find each other.
