Villa Le Fontanelle Wedding In Tuscany

Villa Le Fontanelle Wedding

Grace and Daniel met in 2008 and have been together ever since.  They shared 10 perfect years together before deciding to tie the knot.  They have always loved to travel and are always in search of the next best view.  They’ve been known to do the opposite of what is traditional, and their nuptials were no exception.  There was no engagement, there was no proposal, there was no ring.  They were just two people who knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.    Keeping with their nontraditional lifestyle, a destination wedding was key.  With this in mind, the only obvious answer was the spectacular region of Tuscany with its food, views, and ideal atmosphere for their intimate day.  They called on The Tuscan Wedding to organize a weekend that they and their guests would never forget.  Their wedding weekend started with a wine tour in Chianti and San Gimignano immersing themselves in the Tuscan culture and bonding with friends and family before the big day.  The next day they made even more amazing memories with a cooking class and a pizza party for all their guests at Villa Le Fontatelle.

Grace and Daniel decided to share a beautiful first look moment before walking down the aisle.  It was definitely the most romantic moment of the whole ceremony.  Daniel stood under the trees and looked out into the Tuscan hills patiently waiting as he could hear her footsteps getting closer and closer.  When he turned around he was overcome with emotions of excitement and happiness.

The couple shared a very intimate symbolic ceremony with only twenty of their closest loved ones.  The day was made even more special with their choice of officiant, Daniels sister.  The nuptials took place in a seemingly hidden yet incredible fortress.  It was a place unlike any other hidden away in the hills of the unbeatable Tuscan countryside.  The guest moved from the rustic fortress ceremony space to the Villa’s gazebo where they shared an aperitif and awaiting the arrival of the newlyweds.

While the guests where busy, the couple snuck away to take photos with the most exquisite backdrop.  The old and rustic fortress covered in bright green vines made the brides jaw-dropping beaded gown pop.  Victoria Bonvicini captured their undeniable love for each other.

After their photoshoot, it was time to join the party upstairs under the pergola.  The walked up the stairs to their new life together hand in hand.  At the top waiting for them was not only their friends and family but an insane view of the entire Florentine countryside.   The reception space was pure elegance.  The tables and decked out in floral arrangements of ivory and nude pink garden roses, small dahlias, spray roses, astrantia, white veronicas, olive and eucalyptus leaves by Flowers Living, it tied perfectly with the ceremony.  They chose timeless black and white stationery, as to not take away from the stunning flowers and an absolutely breathtaking view of Tuscany.   The bride’s dad, the groom’s dad, and maid of honor all gave speeches and well wishes to the Mr. and Mrs.  After, they shared a meal and lots of laughs with all of their guests.  The couple opted for a Millefeuille cake prepared in front of their guest.  Another traditional Italian touch added to their special day.

After their sit down dinner, the couple yet again went off on their own for some remarkable sunset photos.  Grace and Daniel took in the view one more time as the sunset over the pretty city.  It was the perfect way to spend their first day together as husband and wife.    After the sunset, the party moved from the pergola to the terrace where they enjoyed an open bar and after-party.  The newlyweds danced the night away under the glow of the Italian stars with the people they cared about the most.
