Hawk Ridge Winery Wedding
Watertown is a small town nestled in the Litchfield Hills of Connecticut and also happens to be the hometown of Event Planner, Jennifer Tansley. When she heard a winery would be opening up with plans to host weddings, she instantly knew this would be the perfect spot for a styled shoot.
The Hawk Ridge Winery features rustic woodwork, sweeping views of the hillsides, and offers a stunning sailcloth tent for outdoor events. It is the perfect venue for couples seeking a romantic New England wedding.
The goal was to capture the winery at its most beautiful time of the year, which in New England would naturally be the fall. Fall weddings can be overly themed, so the wedding pros worked hard to capture the warmth of the season, without the typical pumpkins or apples.
If you are planning a Hawk Ridge Winery Wedding, you are going to love all the details from this gorgeous day!
The design consisted of warm hues of copper, cream, rose gold, along with splashes of slate. This created a color scheme that was warm and cozy, but also trendy and romantic.
The sweet couple, Christian and Alysa, made the day really special. Their adoration and affection for one another was nothing less than magnetic.
There were seasonal signature drinks, cozy blankets for the guests, and even hand-made marshmallow wedding favors.
To show how beautiful a ceremony could be on the lawn of the winery, they set up a circular arch that looked absolutely amazing against the backdrop of hills. The pampas grass was the perfect finishing touch and gave it an organic and boho feel that complimented the landscape.
Floral Designs by Justine was able to execute the vision perfectly. The bouquet made up of the cappuccino roses, parrot tulips, and hellebores, came together in the most magical way. The color palette of florals perfectly complimented the rolling hills of foliage, so much, that everyone would periodically stop to take in its beauty.
Combining the different textures of the plates with the leather place cards and touch of local grasses really showed how these pros left no detail behind.
For the table setting, the goal was to show off two looks. Something with height and drama, and something lower and more intimate.
