New Englands is known for its romantic historical mansions and Wadsworth Mansion at Long Hill Estate perfect fits that description! The gorgeous and perfectly manicured lawns of this mansion are a dream location for bridal portraits and your wedding day celebration.

The team of Connecticut wedding vendors who put together this dusty blue styled wedding, worked for three solid months to ensure that every single detail would be executed to than sheer perfection, and working from the notion of a ‘dusty blue dream‘ for their inspiration!

The subtle tones of dusty blue used in this shoot were elegantly displayed in small details like the soft gauze ribbon draped beside the wedding stationery. To maintain a cohesive look and tie subtly into a grandiose feel, the groom also wore a blue suit, and shades of blue can be found in everything from the bridal bouquet, to the tablescape! The blue tones were also used in a two-tier ocean blue wedding cake! The use of color in this styled wedding is the perfect way to show off how to incorporate a signature color into your wedding day color palette.

The bridal bouquet was made of all white florals that were accented by varying sprigs of greenery. The bouquet was finished with two shades of extra-long blue ribbons delicately tied to the handle, and the effect it created looked absolutely gorgeous against the brides soft white textured gown! The bride also slipped on a cathedral length veil when it came time for the bridal portraits! The long length veil looked effortlessly romantic flying in the breeze with the glass doors of Wadsworth Mansion just beyond view in the background!
