Winter Landmark Center Wedding

Katie + Brett had a bit of a challenge planning their wedding. While they both called the Minneapolis area home, they also recently moved away for jobs and school – not even together but in separate states! After a lot of driving and remote planning, their beautiful Landmark Center wedding day was finally here. St Paul’s historic Landmark Center was opened in 1902 and originally served as the Federal Court House and Post Office for the upper Midwest. The building features a five-story courtyard covered in skylights as well as several turrets and towers and is constructed of pink granite with a red-tiled roof. It is currently listed on the National Register of Historic Places and makes a spectacular backdrop for any wedding celebration.

Katie + Brett's day began with preparations at the Intercontinental Hotel on the St Paul riverfront. Katie and the girls had a gorgeous two-room suite for hair and makeup as well as dressing, while the guys had a large modern room on the main floor.

The Landmark Center was glowing and sparkling for Katie + Brett’s reception, featuring twinkle lights and crystal centerpieces, it was a gorgeous sight. The evening started with a cocktail hour, then followed with their grand entrance. Once dinner was finished, their family and friends gave numerous toasts – filled with laughter, love, and tears of joy. Katie + Brett snuck in a cake cutting before their first dances.
