Winter Wedding Theme Ideas
Inspired by Canadian winters and all the magic that comes with them, this styled shoot is filled with Winter wedding ideas that brides will love! A talented group of wedding vendors worked together to create an utterly romantic indoor version of how it looked outside. In spite of the cold outside, the interior of the venue with warmed with the glow of flickering candles, gorgeous gowns and deep green and white florals – creating a beautiful forest winter wonderland.
The amazing invitation suite featured a romantic blue floral design matted on a wintry shade of light blue. The envelope was lined with the same design as the invitation and was completed with stunning hand calligraphed lettering.
A large floor mirror announcing the the couples names was placed to greet guests in the entryway. Gorgeous grey taper candles placed at it’s base tied the look into the theme and added warmth with their soft flames.
For her first look, the bride wore a gorgeous beaded ballgown with a scoop illusion top. Soft curls framed her face while her makeup added an extra touch of that romantic vibe the vendors worked so hard to achieve.
The decadent dessert table featured more of the signature wintry blue that can be found throughout the theme. A gorgeous three tier cake was decorated with lace, blue piping and creamy white garden roses. Macaroons were beautifully displayed along with matching cupcake and frosted sugar cookies.
The second part of the bride’s look continued to build on the wintry wedding theme! This time she is wearing a sleeveless light blue/grey gown that is adorned with elegant lace appliques. Her hair was held back by a breathtaking wintry bridal hair comb that added just the right amount of sparkle to her look.
Deep blue chalices lined the table along with jade colored chargers and gold utensils. Centerpieces filled with deep greenery, white roses, and white anemones brought the outdoors in! For some added height, light blue taper candles were placed into gold candlesticks.
